Ambient wunderkind Stone Anthem makes his debut on GOTO with the four track EP "Ephemeral Rush". Taking inspiration from psychedelia, the New Age and classic electronics, Stone Anthem produces music made with a certain determinism that belies his age. Utilising field recordings, vocal samples and synthesized textures, each piece soundtracks a different journey into sun-kissed environs, before "The Inner Sanctum Burns" returns to a place more surreal and claustrophobic. The collection offers echoes of Fennesz, recent Zoviet France releases and even John Foxx's ambient explorations. Let "Ephemeral Rush" take you to places undiscovered.
